Yara the Brave and the Swirling Worry tells the story of a girl dealing with debilitating worry. Kids are encouraged that though worry may follow them around, God is always there.

Yara–a young girl known for being brave and bold, strong and steady–is suddenly worried. In fact, a little worry worm won’t leave her alone. The more she tries to run away from it, the more entangled in worry she becomes. When Yara can’t take the worry any longer, she runs far away. Every time she runs, she encounters an unlikely but wise friend who helps her navigate life with her worry worm.

Author Blair Linne is no stranger to worry and anxiety. Starting in 2015, she experienced crippling anxiety and panic attacks that spiraled her into a dark reality of discouragement and shame. After a long season of battling anxiety, she came to realize that there was no way around her worry–only through it, with God.
